What is KIDZ Internet Bank?
The KIDZ Internet Bank is a virtual internet banking system for use by parents to teach their children about money.
With KIDZ Internet Bank the parent acts as the bank who manages the money. The parent must approve all transactions,
deposits and withdrawals. The parent handles the cash, either receiving or giving the money to the child.
A typical withdrawal (child wants money) transaction will be as follow:
- Child login to the system
- Child do a withdrawal transaction specifying what the money is for
- If enough money is available, the transaction will show as 'Pending'
- Child runs to parent and requests the money (now!)
- Parent login to the Parent Control part of the system
- Parent clicks on the name of the child requesting the money
- A list of all 'Pending' transactions for the child will show
- Parent double clicks on the transaction and approves or denies the transaction
- If approved, the parent hands the child the money
Other features include:
- Printable statement for child
- Child can immediately see how much money is available
- Parent gets a statement showing the balance for each child
